Jean F. Robson

ROBSON, Jean F. “Jaybird” – of the Cold Spring Section of Lower Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Jean was born in Philadelphia and was a Cape May County resident for most of her life. Jean worked for the Lobster House Restaurant for over 50 years and retired as the manager of The Schooner. For many years, she served on the Cape May County Board of Elections. Jean was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #386, Cape May, where she enjoyed spending time with friends at various functions. Jean enjoyed shopping, reading, relaxing by the beach or pool and cooking for her large family, especially at Thanksgiving. Above all things, Jean is remembered by her family and dear friends as being a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and being a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband, Allan R. “Bud” Robson (2000) and her son, Steven J. Robson (1996). Jean is dearly missed by her loving family which includes her four sons, Allan Roy Robson, Ronald F. Robson (Jannette), Gary Lee Robson, Sr. (Debra) and David Wayne Robson; 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Jean’s graveside funeral service will be held on Friday (June 22nd) at 10am in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Lower Township.
