Inez D. Hallman

March 28, 1928 - January 22, 2016

HALLMAN (nee Schramm), Inez Dorothy - (March 28, 1928-January 22, 2016) Inez graced this world with her sweet presence for 87 years, but she will live on in our hearts forever. Those who grieve her loss are comforted by knowing she is with our Lord Jesus Christ. Inez passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida. Remaining behind are Edwin Hallman, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL the love of her life and husband of 66 years, three daughters Barbara Nix (husband Steve) of Cape Coral, FL, Norma Sasso of Cape May, NJ and Tracey Zaberer (husband Donald) of Jensen Beach, FL, her three grandchildren, Emily Sasso, Andrew Zaberer and Joseph Zaberer, her dear sister Florence Danilko of Brick, NJ and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents August and Florence Schramm and her sisters Jeanne Middleton and Arabella Richardson. Inez and her husband Edwin were owners of Schramm & Hallman Builders and Cabin City Motel in Cape May, NJ for many years. Ed and Inez were Cape May High School sweet hearts who married in 1949. Inez and Ed raised three daughters with love and encouragement. Inez taught Sunday School and enjoyed Square Dancing in earlier years. She enjoyed baking, reading and tending to her flower gardens. Inez loved the sunshine and beaches in Florida and became an avid collector of Sanibel Island seashells. Her interest in the history of the Native American West led to a joy of traveling to National Parks and exploring the nature and wild life of Montana, Utah and Oregon. Inez had a flair for art and a love of whimsy. Instilling laughter was a cherished part of who Inez was, and a gift to all of us who knew her. The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Inez D. Schramm Hallman will be held Tuesday, February 2nd at 11am in the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church, 780 Seashore Rd., Lower Twp., NJ, where friends will be received from 10:30am to 11am. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cem.
