Gloria Luck Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

LUCK, Gloria M. – 92, of Cape May, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the comfort of her daughter’s home surrounded by her family. Born in Wildwood, Gloria graduated from Wildwood High School in 1945 and began working for the Bell Telephone Company even before graduation. She enjoyed a long career of 45 years with the Bell Telephone Company before retiring. Gloria was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing computer games, her flower gardens (especially her roses and gladiolas), driving and shopping but most of all simply being with her family. She enjoyed a marriage of 52 years to the late Walter H.E. Luck, Jr. (2010) and is also predeceased by her sister, Elaine M. Boess (2019). Gloria is dearly missed and forever loved by her family which includes her two daughters, Gloria (and Bob) Barnshaw and Sharon (and Rich) Otto; four grandchildren, Emily (and Tim), Katie, David and Krista; three great grandchildren, Ace, Quentin and Rhett; brother-in-law, Joseph Boess, as well as nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May on Thursday (Apr. 29th) for Gloria’s walk-through viewing from 11am – 12pm. Her funeral ceremony for family will follow and begin at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Gloria supported the Love of Linda Cancer Fund during her life.
