With the deepest and saddest regret, our family’s heart is devastated to announce the passing of our Derek Bryant. So awesome and amazing as Derek was, this is news no one ever wants to get or deal with. It’s a gut punch to say the least for siblings to have to deal with, especially as close as we all are. I wish this was a bad dream where I can wake up from this horrible nightmare. Kathy, Dad, Christina, Ashley, Caiden and myself are missing you tremendously already. There are no words to describe THIS type of loss for us. You will always be our Baby Brother! I love you SOOOO much, words could NEVER describe! My heart breaks in a way I never knew it could feel. These 27 years we have been blessed with you, we will cherish it Baby Boy! Every talk, every fight, every moment of laughter, sleeping, eating, making fun and just being us, we will keep your memory alive because you have ALWAYS been a part of us and we have, and will continue to, always be a part of you. A gathering time is scheduled for Monday (Oct. 17th) in the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May from 10:30am to 11:30am with a time of sharing thoughts and memories by family and friends beginning at 11:30am.
