PARKER, Carole S. – 59, of Cape May passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her family at her side on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2015. Born in Abington, PA, Carole has been a resident of Cape May since 1986 after moving here from Sellersville, PA. For the past 17 years she has worked at the DeWeese Law Firm, Wildwood. Carole was always involved within her community, specifically within the school system, Little League and refereeing for field hockey. A woman of faith, Carole was a member of the Cape Island Baptist Church, Cape May. If you knew Carole, you immediately loved her. She had a personality and a smile that pulled you in and made you feel special just by being in her presence. Above all things in life, Carole is remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her relationships with these people live on. She is predeceased by her parents, Laurence and Dorothy Wiggins. Carole is dearly missed by her loving family which includes her husband of 36 years, James M. Parker, III; three sons, James (Jenna) Parker, Eric Parker and Andrew (Kendall) Parker; siblings, Larry (Diane) Wiggins, David (Betsy) Wiggins and Anne Wiggins; grandson, Knox Parker; mother-in-law, Miriam Parker; father-in-law, James Parker; sisters-in-law, Nancy, Sally and Betsy; brothers-in-law, Kenny and Paul; also nieces, nephews, cousins, very dear friends, her Craft Club, her knitting group and her “COWS.” Carole’s memorial service will take place on Friday (Aug. 21st) at 10:30am at the Cape Island Baptist Church, 115 Gurney St., Cape May where relatives and friends will be received from 9am – 10:20am. Interment will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Lower Twp. Additional parking is available at Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May.
